Background
This web site was another project that came in from an ongoing client. After building responsive WordPress templates based on Photoshop designs and making various customizations to WordPress, the entire project changed. I had to be especially agile and flexible as the requirements shifted midstream.
Throughout the build, it was imperative that every module and tile was developed in a way that allowed the end user to easily change it after delivery. None of the content could be static. Using best practices and a lot of organization, I created a back end structure that was easy to use for even the biggest WordPress novice.
What I Did
- Built custom WordPress page templates based on Photoshop comps (PSDs)
- Customized WooCommerce
- Customized plugins to create “Add to Wishlist” functionality
